It all very hush-hush, I found this copy of the Kidderminster Echo stuffed down the back of the cistern in the men's toilets in MacDonalds. I'm searching the web for an on-line version, but I haven't found it yet!

For a moment there I thought you were talking about the war in Kidderminster reported by the Kidderminster Echo.
I'll look out for this local community project _ sounds interesting.

Every time I visit friends in Paris, there is always a new road that has been created into a tunnel with a public transport/taxis/cycle road on top. Hey, this is the solution on how to complete Kidderminster ring road: built a tunnel under the old cemetery!

I suppose then, according to John Cooper's report (and Fran's tweets) the Chairman of the meeting, Cllr. Stephen Clee, used the "Power of General Competence" (after reading the Wyre Forest Agenda) and changed the meeting to allow participation from...

I guess it is up to us bloggers, tweeters, facebookers etc. to keep the debate and emphasis on-going. ...and we are the ones not claiming an allowance from the taxpayer!

Thank you so much Jonathan for your report. That's saved my evening as I was going to use Ian Miller's report (tweets) and I haven't automated posting tweets on the 'Agenda yet.
Now I know who Ian Miller meant when he tweeted: "A member of the...

It has been mooted that the link road could be built upon stilts across the marshland, to keep it eco-system alive (shielded from natural light, but still alive). Of course, heavy plant and machinery is needed down there to build the road and stilts in...

If anyone has attended the 'State of the District' council meeting (that's the non-public one) tonight at the Council Chamber, Stourport, we would very much welcome a report back. I'll post it here on the 'Agenda. It needn't be excessively long, and you can...

...but the problem is nobody is coming up with the unique selling point each town (or the district) should adopt. ...well apart from you. We need a decision, and nobody is making it. Even John Campion said, 'we could be a digital district, if that's...

Let me just translate how this seems to members of the public: Before the 'Debate' meeting at Kidderminster, select councillors and unknown 'stakeholders/partners' met for workshops to brainstorm ideas for regeneration of Wyre Forest. Helen still hasn't...

For Pete's sake... Fran you are a very intelligent and very experienced councillor, how can you think that Google Maps on a hyperlocal weblog are, "detailed plan(s)"? These are not proposals, these are not detailed plans, this is an open and...

I don't and have never said there has been/is a conspiracy _ where did that come from? I over-emphasised the reaction seen from the public's point of view of local authorities after seven years of observing them.
Yes Helen, I can see how it could be...

Actually 'Option 1: A road of two halves' was Neville Farmer's suggestion, it makes use of the disused railway bridge on Birchen Coppice. The other two were my suggestions. I never said they were plans; for the plans we have to wait for our overlord masters decide when to drip feed us plebs the information.

There is nothing wrong with Google Maps to help explain a route or area; in fact, when FlipC is blogging about traffic in Stourport I always open another browser window with a map of Stourport. 'A picture means a thousand words' is so true. However, you are...

The situation Fran speaks of has been resolved before with 'shoppers car parks'. Besides give everyone free car parking, when they park they get a re-useable permit (like a plastic credit card) that shoppers have to get scanned at a shop. For...

There is another debate to be held in the Council Chamber in Stourport on Wednesday 14 March. However, the Council Chamber has a small public gallery so I guess this is a 'council meeting being held in public' rather than a public meeting.
