At least I don't resort to name calling Graham! |

It appears that you feel that there is a conspiracy theory behind every suggestion, plan and idea that comes from any local authority, there isn't but why would you take my word for it! I just think that your "suggestions" which mention knocking down... |
|
|
Please note that the suggestions below are as far as I am aware only Tav's suggestions and not based on any fact! Also Jonathan for your information the Hoobrook Link Road has been on the agenda since the idea of an Incinerator was first broached... |

As a Member Champion of the State of the Area Debates I attended all of the 3 sessions where we met with Business, Stakeholders/Partners and the Third Sector. The issue of car parking was not highlighted as being an area of concern at any of these... |

I have earned my right to be treated as an individual Councillor on WFDC not just as someone's wife or as part of a couple |
|

Interesting but long council meeting. Only 9 female Councillors out of 42 in total on WFDC, come on ladies let's make it more balanced! |
|
|
I would ask if you can show me on Wyre Forest Agenda where I have said that I am "sick and tired" of telling people about how business rates work, I must be writing things in my sleep? |

|
Thank you Tavis, your comment and award is much appreciated. May I wish both you and your family a safe and comfortable journey to your new home and that all goes well when you reach your destination. |

As I have said on here before the Council does not set the rents for shops / businesses in the town centre, they are set and charged by private landlords who own the properties. They unfortunately do not have to do what the Council recommends. The... |

When I first started work at Littlewoods in 1973 the town was always like this on a Thursday and Saturday. Visitors from the Black Country and all the nearby rural areas came to Kidderminster to go to the town market and what was then called the "top market" which... |

Stephen there is a lot said about councillors on this blog, surely as a Councillor I am allowed to voice an opinion too. Don't forget I am a Member of the Public too who pays their council tax just like everyone else. |

I am not against people using FOI but for questions like how many street parties are taking place or how many road closures have been applied for doesn't seem earth shattering information. I know that political parties at times are obsessed with conspiracy... |
|
|
Was there really any need for a FOI on this one? |

Neil, I have a question about the idea of free parking, if there were no charges at all for parking in a District Council Car Park where would the money be found to carry out maintenance, cash collections etc. I will be interested in your answer. |
|
|
Jonathan you state that its well known that the condition of the Glades is down to "poor maintenance" out of interest can I ask who it is well known by? |

There are quite a few footpaths on Spennells that are used by residents on a very regular basis and the battle to deal with dog fouling and litter is on-going. As these pathways (that were included when the estate was built to enable residents to access... |

If only non domestic rates went into the local authority coffers, we could work wonders! The local authority is the collection agent for the government not the recipient! a misconception held by many I am afraid to say. Having worked in retail for most... |

Neil with reference to your comments can you explain to me how local authorities benefit from High Street high rents and rates please? |

Further Update... For a short time there was a Farmers and Craft Market held in Stourport by the riverside, it was run by the company that run the market in Kidderminster [LSD Promotions] but unfortunately was not successful. An "ordinary" street market... |

There has been a market tried out in Stourport before and it was unsuccessful, I will check out dates, site and how long it was tried out for but I know it wasn't in the too distant past. |

It's all kicking off in Blighty Tav. The government have caused a petrol strike without a strike actually taking place, so all the petrol in Wyre Forest has run dry. The Upper Class village of Broadway is getting a £200,000 grant for an Ashmolean Museum...

I'll be attending, just out of curiosity though how much advertising was done outside the immediate local? This still doesn't feature on the WFDC events page nor the Shuttle's. What we want is people from Brum or Dudley to look at the great...

What sounds great? The event or the fact that Tav has over 10,000 miles between him and Stourport?

Wow, wow, wow, this is fantastic!
I wish I could attend but there are 10,300 miles in the way! (16,500Km actually _ they use kilometres down here!)

Back in November the 'Agenda was discussing a street market for Stourport. I know the 'Stourport Market' blog has been quiet since November - but I wondered if I could make a quick plug for something which is commented on in...
