At last the 'agenda has entered the 21st century and added a proverbial blogroll!
Of course if you know a weblog with local (Wyre Forest) content or run such a weblog, then contact me and I'll add it to the list.
I have categorised them into three categories: (1) Alive; (2) Asleep; and, (3) Gone, but not forgotten. I'm not going to rate them or put them in order of fondness because that would just be lame (and time consuming). Instead they are in alphabetical order (I think)...
Alive & Kicking:
| ASCC
The Aggborough & Spennells Community Connect website was launched in July 2010, aimed at those who live and work in the area. We are several groups of enthusiastic local residents & we believe this is a GREAT area with a fantastic community spirit. |
| Changing Churchfields
The Churchfields area of Kidderminster, once dominated by carpet factories, has now been identified, by the Rywyre Initiative and Kidderminster Regeneration Prospectus as an area for potential change. |
| Friends of Broadwaters
|
| Schoolboy Socialist
Tom King: A Labour, Co-op, Unite, Fabian member. A student, Socialist, republican and heathen. I'm the Youth Officer for Wyre Forest CLP. |
| St. George's Park
We are an active community group made of local residents, Councillors and organisations working in the Horsefair area. |
| The Best of Kidderminster
|
| The Big K (aka. Roy Keys)
Born into the farming community in Cookhill, Worcestershire, Roy attended the village school and went onto Redditch County High. Roy passed for university but home circumstances were not amenable. |
| The Mad Ranter
There comes a time in every man's life when he has to give in, wear a flat cap, shout at kids to 'Get off my lawn', and start writing letters to newspapers. |
| Wyre Forest Green Party
The Greens have a new and totally radical agenda. We demand fairness and believe in progressive taxation, green investment for jobs and making the Bankers pay for the crisis they mainly caused. Policies that form the backbone of our local agenda. |
