Kenco Animal Sculptures [Kenco]

I have put in the nomination for an glass animal sculpture for Baxter Gardens in Kidderminster. This is a competition being held by Kenco for a public sculpture to be given to a park or school. I originally chose the giraffes, but I figured (1) they may encroach upon neighbouring properties to the park (seen over the fence) and (2) the 'crab' sculpture is probably in Birmingham and so logistics would be easier than fetching the giraffes from Liverpool.

My nomination was submitted as follows:

"Since residents near Baxter Gardens organised a 'Friends Of' group the facilities and presentation of Baxter Gardens has gone from strength to strength. The park hosts community events, fitness equipment has been installed, and the tennis club has a newly painted mural. It makes an enjoyable visit for young to old. However, the park is missing any sort of sculpture which others parks nearby already have. The 'crab' sculpture, which I enjoyed immensely in Birmingham, would be a crowning addition to be enjoyed by all and an appreciation to the groups efforts in making it a fantastic place to visit."
